In the division of nephrology, 2 specialists treat kidney ailments (chronic renal failure, acute renal failure, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, acute pyelitis, cystitis, etc.).
  • Conducts urinalysis, renal sonography, biopsy, and nuclear medicine tests
  • Operates the hemodialysis unit (Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis).
    • Hemodialysis : It's one of the Renal replacement therapies. The artificial kidney center creates arteriovenous aneurysm(Connecting artery to vein surgically) and removes waste and body fluid through hemodialyzers on a regular cycle (3 times per week, every other day).
    • Peritoneal dialysis : It's one of the Renal replacement therapies. It inserts peritoneal dialysis catheter into abdomen and removes waste and body fluid by continuing to inject peritoneal dialysis solutions into it manually or by using machines.
